NAEF Core Service Facility

  • Two Applied Biosystems 3130xl 16-capillary Genetic Analyzers for sequence and basic DNA fragment analysis including AFLP, microsatellite and SNP detection.
  • Sequence editing, alignment and analysis software available on the NAEF Server includes: Sequencher (Gene Codes) and GeneMapper (Applied Biosystems).  Please inquire:  tmcclean@uwyo.edu
     

 
NAEF Training and Preparation Lab

  • Applied Biosystems 7500 Real-Time PCR System for quantitative, real-time, RT-PCR, detection of fluorogenic probes and SNP analysis.
  • NanoDrop microspectrophotometer for quantifying nucleic acids, preparatory centrifuges, thermal cyclers, multichannel and single channel pipets, and computers for alignment and analysis of data.
  • PromegaExpress Freezer and cabinet.
